POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WEEKLY HOURS: 45 Hours

TIME CONDITIONS: Day Shift

Purpose of Position:
To collect and deliver reports; specimens and parcels sufficiently and timeously to and from the wards, hospitals, Dr’ rooms, factories and relevant clients by means of a vehicle.

Requirements:
1 year general driving experience
Knowledge of National Traffic rules and regulations
Communication skills
Grade 10
Must be prepared to work overtime , weekends , public holidays as required
Valid South African Drivers Licence (Code B)

Advantageous:
2-3 years experience as a driver collecting and delivering goods
Knowledge of the relevant geographical area
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
Communication skills
Valid South African Drivers Licence (Code A)

Key Responsibilities:
Collect and deliver reports, specimens and parcels in order to ensure that clients and labs received them timeously
Maintain safekeeping and maintenance of company vehicles and relevant equipment in order to remain contactable and deliver excellent service.
Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath at all times.
